Pre-Adoption
We strive to place our precious puppies with loving family's where they
will receive lots
of love, proper maintained health care and a
lifetime of cuddles, which they
are sure to return as the
family pet. A puppy is a long term, life long commitment
and it is our commitment that they find the perfect family
in
which to grow and be forever loved! Please do your homework,
ask all questions and know what to expect before adopting a puppy. We always
suggest to expect the unexpected. Therefore, we encourage and offer repeat and
private visitation with any puppy for as long as it takes to feel a level of
overall comfort with the puppy and Awe Puppies.
We by no means ever want to pressure anyone into adopting a puppy. In turn, Awe
Puppies needs to feel a level of comfort
with the prospective adopting family.
Our
Puppy Pediatricians
Awe Puppies
proudly boasts superior veterinarian expertise from
DVM's from
the
Universities of Pennsylvania,
Pittsburgh,
California, New York &
New Jersey. We require all our breeders to have their puppies examined and
certified by licensed DVM's at least once, sometimes two and three times before
they come to us here at Awe Puppies.
Upon
arrival in our nursery, we then have them examined and
certified again by our DVM, Dr. Jeffrey Pendleton of
Harrisburg Pike Animal Hospital who has been working with us
since the very beginning. He sees our puppies routinely,
vaccinates our puppies and ensures they are healthy puppies
prior to adoption. "Dr. P" has also served as
President of the Lancaster
P.E.T.S. since 1998.
Pricing,
Deposits & Reserving a Puppy
We will gladly Reserve a puppy
with a small deposit with pick-up preferred within one week. At
times we will accommodate holding a puppy for additional time
with a nominal kennel fee. This of course is a puppy-by-puppy
matter based on several factors. This option would need to be
discussed personally.
Deposits are refundable
minus a small processing fee. We require a
minimal $100 deposit. Payment is payable via MasterCard, Visa, Discover or Debit
Card, Cash and PayPal. Deposits are
also transferable to another puppy and are welcome in our
Awe
Puppies Awe
Shop Boutique for crates, leashes, sweaters, bling and other
awe-Dorable
accessories. Each deposit is handled differently on a 'puppy
by puppy case'. Please be sure to speak directly to an
Awe Puppies specialist
about our deposit details, fees, transfers and 'featured
puppy' deposits.
Pricing
at Awe Puppies
is determined by a puppy's breed, size and the
costs in which to raise our puppies. Please realize that the smaller
a puppy is, the more nurturing it requires from its birthmother and their
two-legged Mommy as well. Our tiny and T-Cup Toy Awe
Puppies will be well over 10, 12 or even 16 weeks of age before being adopted. There are weight schedules
that can help
determine an approx adult weight of a young puppy. If you would like more
guidance on this, please give us a call.
While we are pleased to offer a small line of
accessories, crates and the like at our Awe
Shop Boutique, please know
our focus is our puppies. While others may offer 'free'
accessories with their puppy adoptions, you will find that we
provide the essentials; food, certification, training
guides
and vitamins as required. Our reason is simple, we specialize
in puppies and caring for them. We realize that everyone has
their own preferences to crates and the such and that many
already have these items in place. So, in exchange for
offering these additional 'free' items, we provide you with a
wonderful, exceptional quality puppy at a cost lower than
what others may charge.
Discounts are
offered to those adopting multiple puppies so if you find you
just can't have one without the other, we will be very glad to
work with you on a discounted multiple purchase price. We
always offer discounts for returning Awe
Puppies Families!
Additionally, unlike others, our personal dedication to
customer service allows us to personally offer numerous
in-store specials throughout the year such as holiday and
anniversary Sales, multiple adoption discounts, referral
discounts and repeat adoption discounts. 
Puppy
Paperwork & Vaccines
All of our puppies receive the required puppy shots, are
de-wormed weekly, given vitamin supplements and are health certified by our licensed
veterinarian PRIOR to adoption.
They also come with
a health guarantee above State Law requirements.
Adoption
Details
Upon pick up of your
precious new baby, you will receive all the paperwork listed above and your puppy's immunization chart thus far,
as well as a small journal for your puppy's first moments. You will also receive
Royal Canin
Mini's puppy
food and an official Royal Canin puppy pack containing leaflets of helpful information in
training and feeding your new puppy. Only the best for our babies!
Without question, you will receive a lifetime "lifeline" of
support from us. After all, a puppy is a long term, life long
commitment. The average lifespan of a small breed dog is 10-12-15
years, sometimes more.
For newbie puppy owners please be sure to do your homework and know
exactly what is required to own a puppy both financially and
emotionally. While we will do our best to educate you on the joys of
owning a young puppy and what to expect in the years ahead, Awe
Puppies must
be comfortable knowing that the adoptee clearly understands that a puppy is
a lifelong commitment. Therefore, we will only
allow adoption to qualified, committed families who promise a lifetime
of preventative health exams, cuddles, kisses and lots and lots of
pampering. Be sure to ask all questions before adopting a puppy.

& Delivery Options
Because our puppies have been so sought after
throughout the world,
Awe Puppies is
pleased to offer extended "Personal Delivery
Options".
1. We are proud to offer only "hand-carried shipping"
of our puppies anywhere in the United States of America. What
this means is that we will fly (or drive) with the puppy in our
laps/care/sight and meet you personally spending
at least a full hour discussing the puppy, training, paperwork,
feeding, etc. via airline or vehicle anywhere in the U.S.
This ensures your precious new puppy a healthy, supervised, safe
journey with feeding, potty relief and overall comfort during travel. We
will proudly provide references of some Awe Puppies
families from California, Neveda, Texas & Florida who
acquired their Awe Puppies
via our hand-carried shipping.
2. Half-way travel. We will be very happy to personally drive within reasonable distance or
to a halfway-point for a small
traveling fee. Locations we frequent monthly are New York, Manhattan,
Long Island, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Ohio, DC,
Baltimore, Erie and most recently Connecticut.
3. If you would like to fly to us, we will
gladly meet you at a nearby airport such as Baltimore,
MD or Philadelphia, Harrisburg or Lancaster, PA for a small travel
charge.
We prefer departing or meeting at either Lancaster, PA, Harrisburg,
PA, Philadelphia, PA or Baltimore, MD airports. Feel free to do a quick search on

Please note: No matter how convenient it
may seem, Awe Puppies will not ship our puppies
unattended, alone and afraid via cargo under any
circumstances. There are far too many
health concerns with shipping small breed adult dogs let alone week-old
puppies. And, as we are sure one can appreciate, we've invested far
too much time in raising our puppies to risk losing them in
cargo travels. Thank you for understanding.
Rescue
Assistance
We dedicate ourselves to raising beautiful, quality puppies and it
would greatly disappoint us to find that one of our puppies would someday find
their way to a shelter. Therefore, we work with several volunteer
rescue organizations for folks that decide being a pet owner is no
longer for them. For unfortunate reasons such as career changes,
allergic reactions or even
domestic reasons some puppies need to find new families.
We will gladly help
place pre-adult and adult puppies in loving, quality homes. If you
need assistance in placing your puppy to a new home, please contact us
immediately.
We also highly suggest altering your puppy as soon as your vet will do
so. This is best for pet population control and for cancer related health
risks in both male and female canines.
Advertising
Adopting an Awe Puppy gives Awe Puppies
the right to proudly
feature your new puppy on our website and allows usage of
these photo's for advertising purposes, if need be and only
with your permission. This may
include the adopting families first name only, city
and/or state. We do respect your privacy and will gladly
refrain from doing this at your request. However, we've
found so many of our Awe Puppies
families wanting to have their new baby featured on
our site. So a warning to browsers - There are lots and lots
of photo's on our site.
We will do our best to post most
photo's and testimonials submitted as well. Feel free to
submit your files and photo's via email. Of course, if you
mail us photo's and testimonials the old-fashioned way, we
will surely display them on the Awe Puppies
Wall of
Awe.
